Murray Terrace

Murray Terrace is a historic row of fourteen shophouses located along Murray Street in Singapore, originally constructed in 1929. Named after Colonel Alexander Murray, it has served various purposes over the years, including as an army barracks and a vibrant food alley popular with locals and tourists. After a series of refurbishments, it transitioned to office spaces and later became home to the Six Senses Maxwell hotel in 2018, which received positive reviews before closing in 2020 due to the pandemic. The site reflects Singapore's rich architectural heritage and evolving urban landscape.
