Forrest Block

The Forrest Block is a historic building in downtown Davenport, Iowa, recognized for its elaborate Italianate architecture and rich history. Notably, it housed the city's YMCA and the post office for over a century. After facing potential demolition in the 1990s, it was preserved and underwent significant renovations, transforming it into 24 market-rate apartments with commercial space.
