Houston Museum of Natural Science - Hall of Ancient Egypt

The Houston Museum of Natural Science maintains an archaeological collection and a permanent Hall of Ancient Egypt that displays mummies, coffins, funerary objects, and other material culture from ancient Egypt. The museum acquires, preserves, and exhibits archaeological artifacts for public education and research and has hosted several traveling archaeology exhibitions. HMNS also supports archaeological research through its curatorial staff and collections management.
