Clark Mansion, also known as Holly Rood, is a historic house in Winchester, Kentucky, built in 1814 for James Clark, the 13th governor of Kentucky. This two-story brick residence showcases Federal architecture, featuring a wide front porch with Ionic columns and a striking Palladian window. Set on less than an acre of land, the mansion is surrounded by a spacious front yard and is located near local educational institutions. Designated a National Historic Place in 1974, it offers tours showcasing antique furniture and is a popular venue for formal events like weddings. Visitors can also explore the nearby burial site of Governor Clark.
