Bahay Modernismo

Bahay Modernismo is a captivating museum located in Quezon Memorial Circle, Quezon City, Philippines, that showcases Filipino domestic life from the post-World War II era. Opened on May 30, 2025, the museum features six rooms, including a kitchen, home office, entertainment room, and three bedrooms, all furnished with items typical of the 1950s to 1970s. The museum is housed in a split-level bungalow designed by architect Gerard Rey Lico, utilizing materials from the former Aquino family residence, and exemplifies Modernist architecture with its flat roofs and large jalousie windows. It offers a unique glimpse into the cultural and social dynamics of Filipino families during a transformative period in history.
