Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts - Avenue of the Arts venue

The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts opened in 2001 on South Broad Street and is the principal home venue for the Philadelphia Orchestra in Verizon Hall. The complex also contains the Perelman Theater and hosts the Philly POPS, chamber ensembles, touring concerts, and community performances. Its glass-domed roof and prominent location on the Avenue of the Arts make it a focal point of Center City's cultural life.
