Houserville Site

The Houserville Site, located near State College in Pennsylvania, is a significant archaeological site that served as a stone workshop for prehistoric Native Americans around 10,000 years ago. Recognized for its historical importance, the site was identified in 1978 and excavated starting in 1979, revealing tools and artifacts made from Bald Eagle Jasper, indicating its use during the Early and Middle Archaic periods.
