Kelton House Museum & Garden

The Kelton House was built in 1852 and is preserved as a Victorian-era house museum interpreting 19th-century domestic life in Columbus. The site includes original Kelton family furnishings, period rooms, and a restored garden and carriage house. Some local histories assert the Kelton family assisted fugitive enslaved people, but the extent of Underground Railroad activity at the house is debated by historians.
