Cliff House - historic restaurant site atop the sea cliffs at Lands End

The Cliff House site overlooking Ocean Beach at Lands End has hosted restaurants since 1863 and is situated on prominent sea cliffs that provide expansive, elevated views of the Pacific Ocean and the Marin Headlands. The location has been rebuilt multiple times after fires and storms, but its role as a dramatic coastal vantage point and social destination has been continuous for more than a century. The site also sits adjacent to the Sutro Baths ruins and the Lands End trail network.
