LOVE Park and Robert Indiana's LOVE sculpture

Robert Indiana's iconic LOVE sculpture was first installed in John F. Kennedy Plaza (commonly called LOVE Park) in 1976 and quickly became an enduring civic symbol. The sculpture was temporarily removed during a park redesign in 2016 and subsequently returned to public display. LOVE Park and the sculpture continue to serve as a frequent gathering place and major photographic landmark in the city.
