Christ Church and Christ Church Burial Ground

Christ Church is an 18th-century Episcopal church in Old City that served as the parish for many colonial and Revolutionary-era leaders. Adjacent to the church, Christ Church Burial Ground contains the graves of Benjamin Franklin and other notable 18th-century Philadelphians and is open for public visitation and guided tours. The site interprets colonial religious life and commemorates figures buried there.
