Tom McCall Waterfront Park

Tom McCall Waterfront Park is a roughly one-mile linear park along the Willamette River created after the removal of Harbor Drive and opened in 1978. The park is named for Governor Tom McCall and serves as a primary public gathering space in downtown Portland. It regularly hosts major events such as the Portland Saturday Market and Waterfront Blues Festival, and is a visual and recreational landmark for the downtown waterfront neighborhood.
