Rohō-en (Japanese Friendship Garden)

Rohō-en, commonly called the Japanese Friendship Garden, is a traditional Japanese strolling garden located in Margaret T. Hance Park along 3rd Avenue and was created to celebrate Phoenix's sister-city relationship with Himeji, Japan. The garden features a tea house, koi pond, and seasonal plantings and is used for cultural events and community programs. It is a neighborhood landmark that highlights Japanese garden design and serves as a public gathering space.
