Hotel Emma - adaptive reuse of the Pearl Brewery

Hotel Emma occupies a restored portion of the 19th-century Pearl Brewery complex and opened as a boutique hotel in 2015. The project preserved industrial brewery architecture while converting it into hospitality, dining, and event spaces, and the hotel is named for Emma Koehler, who managed the brewery in the early 20th century. Its design and programming helped anchor the Pearl district's transformation into a mixed-use cultural and culinary hub.
