Moscow City Hall Building

The Moscow City Hall Building, located at 13 Tverskaya Street, is a historic structure that dates back to 1782 and was designed by architect Matvey Kazakov. Originally serving as the residence for Moscow's governors general, it transitioned to the Moscow City Council after the October Revolution. The building features a classic three-story design with opulent interiors, including the White Hall and Red Hall, showcasing marble, bas-reliefs, and intricate decorations. Over the years, it has undergone numerous renovations and served various governmental functions, including hosting speeches by Vladimir Lenin. Today, it remains a significant administrative center under the Mayor of Moscow, reflecting the city's rich history and architectural heritage.
