I-395 Signature Bridge

The I-395 Signature Bridge, also known as The Fountain, is an ambitious construction project in downtown Miami, Florida, designed to enhance the city's artistic identity and improve traffic flow. Spanning 1,025 feet with a striking arch height of 325 feet, the bridge aims to serve as a landmark visible from the Port of Miami and an emergency evacuation route from Miami Beach. The project includes the creation of a 55-acre urban park beneath the bridge, featuring a Heritage Walk that honors Miami's diverse history. Initially set for completion in 2024, delays have pushed the expected finish to 2029, with costs rising to $866 million due to various challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic.
