Dallas City Hall (I.M. Pei design)

Dallas City Hall was designed by architect I.M. Pei and opened in 1978. The building is noted for its distinctive sloping, inverted-pyramid façade and large public plaza that faces downtown Dallas. It houses the city's municipal offices and was a departure from traditional civic architecture in Dallas when completed.
