Paul Revere House (17th-century urban timber-frame)

The Paul Revere House, constructed around 1680 in Boston's North End, is the oldest surviving building in downtown Boston and a rare urban example of a 17th-century timber-frame house. Paul Revere purchased the property in 1770 and lived there during the American Revolution. The house has been preserved and operates as a historic house museum managed by the Paul Revere Memorial Association.
