Francis Kotz Farm

Francis Kotz Farm, also known as The Kotz Place, is a historic site located near Wardensville in Hardy County, West Virginia. Built around 1860, this two-story, four-room Greek Revival style brick house features a side gable roof and a stone foundation. An addition was added in 1875, enhancing its historical significance. The property also includes a three-story frame building that served as the original Kotz family home and wood-working shop from the 1850s, along with a barn constructed around 1865. The farm was recognized for its historical importance and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008, making it an intriguing destination for tourists and researchers interested in American history and architecture.
