Heights Theater (historic movie palace turned music venue)

The Heights Theater opened in 1929 as a neighborhood movie palace in the Houston Heights. After periods of decline and restoration, it now operates as a live music and event venue hosting local and touring artists. The theater is one of the oldest surviving performance buildings in the Heights neighborhood and reflects early-20th-century theater architecture.
