Zephirin Toups Sr. House

The Zephirin Toups Sr. House is a historic residence located in Louisiana, approximately 5.9 miles southeast of Thibodaux. Built in 1866, this 1+1⁄2-story frame house showcases a blend of French Creole architecture with Greek Revival elements. Originally situated along Bayou Lafourche, the house faced demolition in 1974 but was saved by a descendant of the original owner and relocated to its current site. It was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993, making it a noteworthy destination for tourists and researchers interested in Louisiana's architectural heritage.
