Flesk Castle

Flesk Castle, also known as Coltsmann’s Castle, is a historic site located in County Kerry, Ireland. Constructed between 1809 and 1815 in a gothic Georgian style for John Coltsmann, the castle served as a family residence until the mid-20th century. Although it was dismantled around 1950, the remaining shell of the structure offers a glimpse into its storied past. The castle was owned by the Coltsmann family until the early 20th century, after which it was sold to Major John McGillycuddy. In 2005, the site was acquired by the O’Reilly family, making it a point of interest for both tourists and researchers exploring Ireland's architectural heritage.
