John Wayne Gacy's Norwood Park house

Between 1972 and 1978 John Wayne Gacy murdered at least 33 young men and boys; many of his victims' bodies were recovered from the crawl space and elsewhere on the property of his home at this address. Gacy was arrested in 1978, convicted of multiple counts of murder in Cook County, and later executed in 1994. The house at this location became the central crime scene in one of Chicago's most notorious serial murder cases.
