Boston City Hall (Brutalist civic landmark)

Boston City Hall, completed in 1968 and designed by Kallmann, McKinnell & Knowles, is a prominent example of Brutalist civic architecture in the United States. The concrete building and its elevated plaza were conceived as a modern municipal complex intended to house city government and public functions.
