Fort Worth Water Gardens (Downtown)

The Fort Worth Water Gardens is an urban park designed by architects Philip Johnson and John Burgee and opened in 1974. The site features a series of active, aerating, and quiet pools arranged on a sloped concrete plaza and is a noted example of modernist landscape design in Fort Worth's downtown. It has been a frequent public gathering place and a recognizable visual landmark adjacent to the Amon Carter Museum and convention center.
