Pittock Mansion, built in 1914 as the Pittock family residence, is the focus of local reports of ghostly apparitions and unexplained noises by visitors and staff. The site is commonly included in Portland ghost tours and paranormal investigations. These accounts are anecdotal and the existence of supernatural activity there is disputed.
