The Briggait

The Briggait is a historic Category A listed building located in Glasgow's Merchant City, originally serving as the city's fish market until the late 1970s. Completed in 1873, it has undergone various transformations, including a brief stint as a shopping center in the 1980s. Since 2010, it has been repurposed as artists' studios, showcasing the vibrant creative community in Glasgow. Notably, the building features a restored steeple dating back to 1659, adding to its architectural significance.
