Wright's Tavern

Wright's Tavern, located in the heart of Concord, Massachusetts, is a National Historic Landmark with deep ties to the American Revolution. Built in 1747, it served as a gathering place for the Concord Minutemen on April 19, 1775, during the pivotal Battle of Lexington and Concord. The tavern was managed by Amos Wright at the time and was frequented by British officers seeking refreshment after the battle. It also played a significant role as a meeting place for the Massachusetts Provincial Congress in 1774, where key decisions were made against British rule. Currently undergoing restoration to its 1775 condition, Wright's Tavern is set to open as a museum in 2024, offering visitors a glimpse into its storied past.
