Denver Union Station and The Crawford Hotel

Denver Union Station underwent a major restoration and reopened in 2014 as an active transit hub combined with retail, restaurants, and the Crawford Hotel occupying the station's upper floors. The project preserved the 1914 Great Hall while adding modern transit infrastructure and a mixed-use public space, creating a prominent example of historic-station adaptive reuse in downtown Denver. The station remains both a regional transportation center and a social destination.
