Maria Przeździecka Palace

The Maria Przeździecka Palace, located at 10 Foksal Street in Warsaw, Poland, is a historic residential building originally constructed around 1890 for Countess Maria Przeździecka. The palace served as the Japanese consulate from 1925 and was elevated to an embassy in 1937. Tragically, it was destroyed during the Siege of Warsaw in 1939 but was reconstructed in the 1950s. From 1962 to 2004, it functioned as the Soviet and later Russian cultural center. In 2012, it was added to the heritage list, making it a significant site for tourists and researchers interested in Warsaw's rich history.
