Kremlin Armoury

The Kremlin Armoury, established in 1508, is one of Moscow's oldest museums located within the Moscow Kremlin. Originally serving as the royal arsenal, it was responsible for the production and storage of weapons, jewelry, and household items for the tsars. The Armoury showcases exquisite craftsmanship from renowned artisans and houses ten of the 44 surviving Fabergé imperial Easter eggs. In 1806, it became the first public museum in Moscow, and today it also hosts the Russian Diamond Fund, making it a significant cultural heritage site for tourists and researchers alike.
