Independence Hall (Pennsylvania State House)

Built between 1732 and 1753 in Georgian style, Independence Hall is where the Second Continental Congress met and where the Declaration of Independence was adopted on July 4, 1776. The Constitutional Convention also met there in 1787 to draft the United States Constitution. The building is part of Independence National Historical Park and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
