Vallot Hut

The Vallot Hut is an emergency refuge situated at an altitude of 4,362 meters in the Mont Blanc massif, specifically on the upper slopes of Mont Blanc. Nestled below the Bosses Ridge between the Dome du Gouter and the Mont Blanc summit, this unique unheated shelter is constructed from duralumin and can accommodate up to 12 people, although it often hosts more. While not intended as a base for climbing Mont Blanc, it serves as a crucial stop for climbers navigating the challenging terrain of the Alps.
