Agarani Fortress

Agarani Fortress, also known as Kojori Fortress, is a historic Georgian feudal fortress located near Tbilisi, perched atop Azeula Mountain. This strategic site has a rich history, having defended the main road to Tbilisi and served as a summer residence for Georgian kings. Notably, it was the site of significant events, including the siege by David the Builder in 1118 and the tragic battle in 1921 where Georgian cadets fought against the Red Army.
