Moving Castle

The Moving Castle, located in Taitung City, Taiwan, is a unique 4-story house built by a former National Revolutionary Army soldier who fled to Taiwan after the Chinese Civil War. Constructed over 30 years using abandoned materials, this intriguing structure draws inspiration from the animated film 'Howl's Moving Castle.' Visitors can explore its distinctive architecture, which features a second-floor living space and a third-floor vegetable garden. Despite suffering significant damage from Typhoon Nepartak in 2016, the house remains a fascinating attraction for tourists and researchers alike.
