Old Saint Mary's Cathedral

Old Saint Mary's Cathedral was completed in 1854 and served as the first cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese in San Francisco. The building sustained damage in the 1906 earthquake and was subsequently repaired and restored. It remains an active parish church and stands as a 19th-century landmark in the Chinatown/Nob Hill area.
