Zilker Holiday Tree and Trail of Lights

The Zilker Holiday Tree and the connected Trail of Lights is an annual December lights display in Zilker Park that began in 1965 and has since become a major seasonal event. The multi-night event features lighted displays, a decorated central tree, booths, and entertainment and traditionally draws hundreds of thousands of visitors across its run. Management and event logistics are handled through city and nonprofit partnerships to support the park and community programming.
