Bals–Wocher House

The Bals–Wocher House is a historic Italianate style home located in Indianapolis, Indiana, built between 1869 and 1870. This three-story brick dwelling features distinctive architectural elements such as heavy limestone trim, a low hipped roof with deck, and paired brackets on the eaves. Notable for its stone quoins and an off-center arcaded loggia, the house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 and is situated within the St. Joseph Neighborhood Historic District, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in architectural history.
