Mill Ends Park - the "world's smallest park"

Mill Ends Park is a tiny 452-square-inch park located in the median of SW Naito Parkway near Taylor Street in downtown Portland. The park began as a whimsical planting by columnist Dick Fagan in 1948 and was later officially designated a city park. It is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the smallest park, and its absurd size is frequently the subject of local jokes about Portland’s charm and eccentricities.
