Greenwood Civic Center

The Greenwood Civic Center was a notable multi-purpose arena in Greenwood, South Carolina, with a seating capacity of 4,800. Designed by architect Dale Gilliland, it served as a venue for local concerts and sporting events until its closure by the Greenwood County Council in December 2009. After years of neglect, the building was demolished in the summer of 2015, marking the end of an era for community gatherings in the area.
