Capt. Josiah Locke House

The Capt. Josiah Locke House, built in 1803 in Winchester, Massachusetts, is a historic Federal style home notable for its well-preserved interior featuring early Federal and Greek Revival details, including original wallpaper. This house was once the residence of Maribel Vinson Owen, a nine-time US Women's Figure Skating Champion, and her daughter Laurence Owen, a champion in her own right, both tragically lost in the Sabena Flight 548 crash in 1961. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in American history and sports heritage.
