Robert Morris House - home of the 'Financier of the Revolution'

The Robert Morris House preserves the Philadelphia residence of Robert Morris, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, and the United States Constitution, and a principal financier of the Revolutionary War. Morris lived in the house while conducting business and political affairs in the 1780s, and the building retains period architectural features. The site is interpreted as a museum documenting his financial role in the founding of the United States and his later life.
