Renwick Gallery upper-floor perspectives

The Renwick Gallery, a Smithsonian museum for contemporary decorative arts, occupies a building on Pennsylvania Avenue near Lafayette Square; its upper-floor windows and small front garden provide a quieter street-level vantage onto the historic park and nearby federal buildings. The gallery's intimate interior and exterior viewpoints are used by visitors to observe architectural details of the surrounding Lafayette Square area. Admission and hours are managed by the Smithsonian Institution.
