Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP)

Founded as the Experience Music Project by Paul Allen in 2000, MoPOP occupies a Frank Gehry–designed building at Seattle Center and collects exhibits on music, film, gaming, and popular culture. Exhibitions on artists and genres, alongside the building's unconventional architecture, generate frequent coverage and photo-sharing across online platforms. MoPOP's programs and traveling exhibits are regularly featured in music and cultural media worldwide.
