Austin Nature & Science Center

The Austin Nature & Science Center, located within Zilker Park, offers hands-on natural-history exhibits, the Dino Pit (a youth fossil dig site), wildlife-rehabilitation programs, and interpretive nature education for families and schools. The center operates trails and outdoor learning areas that serve local neighborhood visitors and school groups. It has been a longstanding informal nature-education anchor for the Zilker neighborhood.
