I See What You Mean ('Big Blue Bear') at the Colorado Convention Center

'I See What You Mean,' commonly called the 'Big Blue Bear,' is a 40-foot-tall sculptural installation by artist Lawrence Argent mounted at the Colorado Convention Center's exterior and completed in 2005. The fiberglass-and-resin sculpture, painted bright blue and peering into the convention center through a window, has become an iconic and widely photographed symbol of Denver's public-art program. It is sited at the convention center entrance and frequently cited in discussions of the city's contemporary cultural landmarks.
