Witham Town Hall

Witham Town Hall, located in Newland Street, Essex, is a historic municipal building that serves as the meeting place for Witham Town Council. Originally built in the 15th century as a coaching inn known as 'The George', it has undergone significant transformations, including a neoclassical redesign around 1800. The building features a striking façade with a portico and Tuscan columns. Over the years, it has served various purposes, including a bank and a tobacconist, before being acquired by the town council in 1994.
