Cheekwood Estate (1930s country house and gardens)

Cheekwood is a 1930s estate with a mansion and extensive gardens, originally built as the country home of the Cheek family and completed in 1932. The house and designed gardens are preserved as Cheekwood Estate & Gardens, a museum of art and botanical displays that interprets the property's architectural and landscape history. The site is a documented example of early 20th-century American estate architecture and garden design in Nashville.
