Jonathan Dickerman II House

The Jonathan Dickerman II House, located in Hamden, Connecticut, is a historic house museum built around 1795, showcasing late Georgian architecture. This well-preserved structure features a unique design with a gabled roof and a central chimney, and it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. The house is notable for its unusual entrance and retains many original period finishes, along with displays of period furnishings. Originally built by one of the area's early settlers, it has served various purposes over the years, including a seasonal staff residence for Sleeping Giant State Park.
