Raffles House

Raffles House, located on Fort Canning Hill in Singapore, is a modern venue built in 2003, replacing the original wooden residence of Sir Stamford Raffles from 1822. The original house, designed by George Drumgoole Coleman, served as Raffles' home and was notable for its scenic views and botanical gardens. It was later transformed into Government House for colonial governors but was demolished in 1858 to make way for Fort Canning. Today, Raffles House stands as a historical landmark and event space, offering a glimpse into Singapore's colonial past and beautiful surroundings.
